This course is designed to impart basic knowledge and understanding of orthodontic care to a dental practitioner so that they can have the skill to perform orthodontic care in their existent dental setup. The course also includes the latest advancement in the field of orthodontics like Invisalign and lingual orthodontics, making sure that the student is at par with all the advancements.
Invisalign (clear braces) and lingual braces are gaining popularity because of being aesthetically favorable to the patients. Our academy ensures that the students are familiarized with these systems and know how to carry these procedures with ease.
AADE academy ensures that our students perform hands on practice under the guidance of an experienced orthodontist, clearing their doubts at every step of the course and in turn instilling confidence in them .Constant guidance will be provided during all the hands on session .
The orthodontic treatment should be done to straighten teeth, correct an irregular bite, close unsightly gaps and bring teeth and lips into proper alignment. Crooked teeth that do not fit together correctly are harder to keep clean and are at a risk of being lost early because of tooth decay or periodontal disease; therefore treatment should be performed as early as possible to correct the defect.
MBT appliance system philosophy of orthodontic treatment has been developed over a decade and has involved the combined efforts of its three principle clinicians.Their philosophy emphasis on 4 critical areas of ortho treatment.
Lingual braces are placed behind the teeth (by the tongue and palate) rather than in front and therefore offer a great cosmetic alternative for those who want their teeth straightened, without the braces showing. Like traditional braces this product works by applying gentle yet continuous pressure on the teeth, to help them slowly shift to proper position. The treatment can take anywhere from 18-36 months, depending on the severity of the patients overcrowding of teeth or their bite.
